The boss is interested in reducing turnover at work. Records show that 25% of all new hires quit after 1 year. New training is implemented for a sample of 150 new employees. At the end of one year 29 of these 150 individuals are no longer employed. At the .01 level of significance, is there evidence that the proportion of employees who have gone through the new training and are no longer employees in less than .25%? If not, does personnel need to review and possibly revise its new training approach? Which major decision making approach applies here and which model is most appropriate for reaching a decision?
