Find a univariate set of data on the Internet for any topic. Use a reliable website. Examples include, but are not limited to, official sports sites, such as www.mlb.com, or government sites, such as www.census.gov. Post the link to the Web page you choose to the discussion board. Discuss which type of data display you would use for the data you found and why.
Look at another student’s data. Choose at least two of the following topics:
A. Discuss the appropriateness of the data display chosen.
B. Discuss the scale’s range and interval you would use (if using a bar or line graph).
C. Discuss the possible ways to make the display misleading (yet accurate).
D. Discuss the measure or measures of central tendency that best describes it.
E. Discuss the spread of the data.
